"Maybe a lot has been made out of it, but the only important thing is his health and it looks like there is nothing threatening," said the Liverpool manager.
"I obviously send my good wishes to Alex. Thankfully it seems to be nothing serious and just a check-up and there are no heart problems.
"But I know what I am talking about on things like this. Alex is a workaholic, very committed and dedicated to his job.
"But you do not know what is going on inside your body, a couple of managers have had problems. I had mine."
