Houllier: You can win the title!

Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has revealed what Gerard Houllier said to him and the rest of the team prior to last night's massive game against Newcastle United.

"Now go and win the title!"
Murphy, who scored twice during the 3-0 win over Newcastle, said; "He spoke to us all and told the lads there are nine games to go and we can win them all. We've got to believe we can do it.

"The manager does inspire us. He makes us believe in ourselves and it was a boost for everyone to see him. He hopes to be back for the final push and he told us he would be back soon.

"This was a big result for us and the performance was a good one. There was a lot of pressure on the game and it was very difficult because of the power failure having to sit around the dressing room."
