Houllier's admits to having 'soft spot' for Worthington Cup

When Liverpool won the trophy in 2001 it was the first part of a unique treble, and Houllier admits to having a 'soft spot' for the competition that many don't rate.

He said: "The best way to prepare for wins in the Premiership and the Champions League is to win every game you play.

"I have a soft spot for this competition because it was the first one we won together."
