Hughes wants Fowler

Fowler is hoping to earn himself a new contract with Liverpool at the end of the season but if he's unsuccessful Blackburn would love to bring him to Ewood Park.

"I think Robbie's focus is on trying to win a new contract, and rightly so. But he's a player that if he became available a number of clubs would be interested in him," said Hughes.

"He is 31 and still has a lot of football in him."
