Hyypia: 1-0 wins will do

Hyypia admits that the Reds were poor on Saturday but both he and Gerard Houllier insist it is results and not performances that count at this stage of the season.

"As long as the game is going on you never give up. It was very scrappy, but if the last nine games are scrappy and we win them all 1-0 we are fourth in the Premiership.

"If we get three points it does not matter how we play. It's nice everyone has that professional attitude that the job's not done yet.

"And if we get through in Marseille on Thursday, we have a great chance to win the UEFA Cup - but the main thing is fourth place."  said the defender.
