Hyypia: Bowyer is a good player

Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia is backing the signing of Lee Bowyer because he believes he is a quality player.

"Lee Bowyer is a good player," said Hyypia. "If you come as a big signing there is always a standard to live up to but all the players we have brought in are good players and Lee is no different."
