It is likely the Reds will need to win both their remaining games if they are to finish fourth this season and Hyypia has admitted their is huge pressure on the players during the run in but the Finn insists that once the games kick off the pressure does not affect him.

He said: "I always enjoy playing football, no matter what is at stake. Our games at the moment are important because we are looking to achieve something but when you play for Liverpool you know there is always going to be pressure on you to do well.

"We are all enjoying the challenge and at the moment we're dealing with it well. We've had two hard games over the last couple of weeks and the fact we have won both matches says a lot about the character in our squad.

"We must take the confidence we have gained from those results into our final two matches. The good thing is we're not relying on anyone else. If we win the games we win fourth place.

"It's important we get there because this club belongs in the Champions League. We all know that and we'll do all we can to get there."
