Hyypia hoping to stay

Hyypia has a year to run on his current contract and was linked with a move to Roma at the weekend. However, the Finn says he is happy at Anfield and has dismissed the transfer speculation.

He said: "I want to stay at Liverpool, there is no doubt about that. We will see what happens. There have been no talks yet but I have a year left on my contract and I am doing my best. That is all I can do. I am a professional and I want to stay."
