Hyypia, who captained Liverpool in the absence of Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher last night, was pleased with the way the Reds went about beating Toulouse.
"We did a good, professional job and we managed to get a few goals," said the Finn.
"We decided beforehand to go for the game quickly and try to get that early goal, and thankfully it came. I think we could have even scored a few more, especially first half, but we are happy to be in the group stages.
"We played with a high tempo, moved the ball around well and showed a good attitude."
