Important announcement for Man Utd game

Last updated : 13 September 2005 By Adam Bryant
At the last home league game against Sunderland, major congestion occurred outside turnstiles A, B, E and F. Here is the following announcement ahead of Sunday's game with Manchester United.

The access control software has been re-programmed, which means if you have an Access Control card for the Kop Grandstand with the entry turnstile block being A, B, E or F you can use your card on any of these four blocks to enter the Kop. (Please Note: this does not include turnstile blocks C and D).

We have also re-programmed turnstiles W and R in the Paddock, so you can use either to gain entry.

The Club thanks all our fans for the patience they showed at the Sunderland game and again apologises for any problems you experienced that afternoon.

We would like to use this opportunity to urge all our fans to arrive early for all games at Anfield not just because of the new access control system, but also the additional searching procedures the Club have put in place.
