The pair picked up hamstring injuries against Birmingham and were facing a month on the sidelines. However, both players have been to Belgrade to see radical physiotherapist Mariana Kovacevic and have responded extremely well to treatment. There is an outside chance they could feature against Man City on Saturday, but the derby a week later is a more likely return.
"I have been in Belgrade to see her and I am feeling better already. My hope now is that I will be fit in one week, two at the most. I have a good feeling about it," confirmed Benayoun.
