Inter wary of Reds threat

The Italian champions come to Anfield a week today for the first leg of the Champions League last sixteen phase. Inter boss Roberto Mancini rested Dejan Stankovic, Maicon, Hernan Crespo and Santiago Solari on Sunday with the Anfield game in mind as he's expecting a tough tie.

"I left out three or four important players [against Catania]," said Mancini.

"I hope to recover those players that are injured although I'm not sure Luis Figo will be able to play against Liverpool.

"Liverpool is a very tough team to play against. They are difficult opponents, that don't give you many spaces.

"Liverpool have proved to be in good form."
