Itandje suspended by club

The reserve goalkeeper, known as Charles Shit-andje, has been suspended by the club for fourteen days while an investigation into his behaviour at the Hillsborough memorial service is conducted.

Shitandje was told not to attend training by Rafael Benitez.

"Charles Itandje has now been officially suspended for 14 days by the club while we investigate his conduct during the Hillsborough Memorial Service," confirmed a club spokesman.
