Johnson made his return from injury as a second half subsitute against Stoke last Saturday. Unfortunately the defender was only on the pitch for a matter of minutes before he injured a hamstring.
Johnson is likely to miss the league games with Spurs, Wolves, Everton and Man Utd as well as England's next European Championship qualifiers.
Luckily for Liverpool, Martin Kelly should have recovered from his own hamstring injury in time to face Spurs this Sunday.
