It is not yet known how serious the injury is and whether or not he will be available for England's friendly with Holland on Wednesday.
"We'll see what it is tomorrow morning," said Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish after the game.
"Everyone is in tomorrow and we'll assess how they are before they have to leave for international duty.
"Some are only on standby at the moment. We don't know who has been called up yet. Maybe Glen wouldn't be called up, we don't know."
