The Liverpool defender helped Slovakia pull of one of the shocks of the tournament when they beat holders Italy 3-2 on Thursday to send them crashing out of the World Cup after finishing in bottom place of their group.
Slovakia's win meant they finished in the runners up spot and face a last sixteen clash with Holland on Monday.
