Spurs boss Juande Ramos has admitted he has to sell players to fund his spending and with Keane desperate to join the team he supported as a boy a move to Liverpool is very close.
Rafael Benitez would like to have Keane on board in time for Tuesday's friendly against Hertha Berlin but knows he will have to make a bid very close to Spurs' £20m valuation for that to happen.
