"This break has come at a bad time to be honest," he said. "I just want to play as many games as I can as quickly as I can.
"I think the game at Chelsea was my first in seven or eight months, and for that to be followed by a two week break is disappointing to say the least.
"I can't wait for Saturday's game at Fulham. After what I've been through in terms of injuries I just want to play as much football as possible."
