Liverpool 'keeper Chris Kirkland insists he is ready to face Galatasaray if Jerzy Dudek doesn't recover in time following his groin injury.
Speaking to the official Liverpool FC website, Kirkland said: "I have been waiting for a chance like this to come along and if I do play then I intend to make the most of it.
"One of the reasons I came to Liverpool was the fact that I could get the chance to play Champions League football. Hopefully I will get my first taste of it on Wednesday."
