Keeper singing Owen's praises

The keeper watched as Owen bagged a brace at the weekend, taking him to the top the goalscoring charts whilst giving the Reds all three points.

And as well as believing the striker's opener against the Hammers to be one of the best he's seen at Anfield, Dudek believes that Owen is now back to his very best after a goalshy start to the campaign.

He said: "For me Michael is the best striker in the world. There's no doubt about that. There are a lot of good strikers out there but he is absolutely magnificent.

"His first goal against West Ham is one of the best I have ever seen at Anfield. It was brilliant. He can score goals out of nothing and that makes him a special player.

"We all know what he can do and what he is capable of. There is no doubt now that he is back to his very best."
