Keeping things in perspective

After taking just one point from their last four league games the Reds have slipped from first to second, but Houllier says that by keeping things in perspective Liverpool will come through their tough time.

He said: "We are going through a difficult period and we want to put an end to it. What happened against United was an accident, even Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that.

"But you become bigger and stronger when you overcome experiences like that. When you live at the top you know every defeat is seen as a crisis. You handle that by keeping things in perspective."
