Kelly bid turned down

Huddersfield Town, with whom Kelly had an impressive loan spell last season, tried to sign the Reds defender on another loan deal yesterday. However, with no replacement for Sami Hyypia lined up yet and Martin Skrtel on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, the bid was turned down by Rafael Benitez.
