The Reds go to Bloomfield Road looking to avenge the 2-1 home defeat back in October but Dalglish has warned his players they must give their all or they could suffer another loss.
"We got beat 2-1 so you're not going to be doing cartwheels, are you?" said the King, when asked on his thoughts on the Anfield game.
"On the day Blackpool deserved the victory. They played very well.
"They have been a breath of fresh air in the Premiership. We're going to play a team that is doing really well at the minute. I think they've exceeded most people's expectations and that's a great credit to them.
"We've got to be up for the work and play really well on Wednesday night otherwise we'll be coming away with the same as last time - a defeat."
