"It feels great to have the deal but I haven't signed it yet," he admitted. "We'll have to wait until Tuesday. I presume that is when I am going to sign it.
"We can all relax then, and go from there. I'm not going to change my mind and hopefully they don't change theirs.
"We will just have to wait until Tuesday and then once everything is done on paper, it is done on paper."
Meanwhile Leeds United have broken their silence about the deal in a statement on the club's official website: "Harry Kewell's potential move to Liverpool is still being negotiated, with the clubs yet to agree a deal for the 24-year-old."
"United, with Kewell having made clear his intentions to leave, are looking to resolve the situation one way or another today."
