The Liverpool star arrived at Leeds United six years ago as part of a scholarship programme called Big Brother.

The secretary of Big Brother, Carrol Bolton admitted: "Two weeks before Harry went to Leeds for his initial one-month spell he played in a competitive game for the Joeys, Australia's youth team.

"Had he not played in that game he could have played for England, His father, Rod, is from England and his British passport was the key to Harry signing for Leeds."
