"I felt good," he said after the game. "I was looking forward to get through the game.
"It was my first game back and my first touch wasn't there so hopefully I can work on that.
"It was disappointing that I missed the Far East trip but the lads are great and they welcomed me into the team.
"It's up to the manager where he wants to play me. It's something I'm comfortable with and I'm just loving every minute of it."
