Kewell happy to play left or right

Liverpool haven't had the best of starts to the season and Gerard Houllier has received criticism for playing the Australian star on ther right instead of the left wing.

"Playing left, playing right, it doesn't bother me, as long as I'm playing really," he said.

"I tend to drift a lot and find myself in different places, so I don't know where my best place is. At the end of the day it's where the manager wants to play me.

"Everyone's got their own mind as to where I should play but it's down to me really and down to the manager."

"It has been a little bit disappointing. We wanted to get a few more points on the board - we played well in three of the four games and we only got one win to show for it.

"The goals just didn't seem to find the back of the net. But you've just got to keep knocking way and hopefully they will start rolling in.

"Sometimes it happens like that. But hopefully we can put that aside now. Now we've beaten Everton, hopefully the goals will start coming."
