Kewell injury not serious

There were fears for Kewell's fitness when he turned up to watch the Australia-Italy game on crutches. However, Kewell's injury was not a recurrence of the groin injury he picked up in the FA Cup final, but gout.

"He's got gout on his foot," said Kewell's Australian team-mate Scott Chipperfield.

"He's in a lot of pain, he can't walk, he's on crutches. It was disappointing for us, because we could have done with him."
