According to the BBC, Kewell has decided that Anfield is his preferred destination of choice this summer - despite overtures from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona.
As one would expect in this summer's longest-running transfer deal, though, the move is far from complete. The BBC reports that many obstacles must be overcome before the Australian international can be unveiled as a Liverpool player sometime towards the end of next week.
