"Rangers have been the first club to put in a request to withdraw a player," said Farina. "We sent out letters to a number of clubs about player selection and Rangers have done what I expect most other clubs will do in the next week or so.
"But we will inform Alex McLeish, and anyone else who asks, that unless the club release Moore, FIFA regulations will be invoked which will ban him from playing for Rangers during the Olympic tournament."
