Liverpool 'keeper Chris Kirkland has returned to training after recovering from an ankle injury and could line-up against Galatasaray next week.
Jerzy Dudek is doubtful for the game so the news that Kirkland could return is a huge boost to the club.
"Chris returned to training yesterday and he trained really well," said acting boss Phil Thompson.
"That is a positive aspect for us because it is still only 50/50 if Jerzy Dudek will make it for the Galatasaray game."
