Kirkland injury update

The Liverpool keeper clashed with Dele Adebola and was immediately rushed to the Mayday hospital in Croydon.

"The latest is that there's nothing broken," confirmed Gerard Houllier. "We need to have a scan tomorrow morning to see if the cruciate ligament has been damaged.

"We just hope that its not too serious but we will know more tomorrow morning."
