Kirkland set to see US surgeon

According to the Liverpool Echo, the 21 year old will take in the advice of Dr Richard Steadman. The Colorado based Stradman has previously treated injuries suffered by the likes of Roy Keane, Patrik Berger, and Ronaldo.

It is hoped that Kirkland will be ready to fight for a first team spot by the start of August.
