Kirkland stretchered off at Selhurst Park

He has suffered a knee injury in the incident and was immediately replaced by Jerzy Dudek in the Liverpool goal.

Kirkland has been taken to the Mayday hospital in Croydon and will be having an x-ray to determine the extent of the injury.
