Kirkland to decide future

The injury prone goalkeeper is out of favour at Anfield and spent all of last season on loan at West Brom. Kirkland was considering joining the Baggies on a permanent basis but their relegation has put an end to that.

However, there are a couple of Premiership clubs interested in signing the Liverpool goalkeeper says his agent.

"There are a couple of clubs interested in Chris. They are both Premier League clubs and Chris is weighing up his options," said Colin Gordon, Kirkland's agent.

"He is training now and is flying right now after recovering his fitness.

"Chris is ambitious and wants to be playing in the Premier League as he wants to get back in the England squad.

"I don't think Chris will be joining West Brom as he wants to be playing at the highest level."
