"All I know is I will come back. I know the injuries will put people off but at least it's not my back this time. I really enjoyed my time at Albion and driving away was quite hard," said Kirkland.
"I'm sorry I couldn't show them more but hopefully I will have another chance. I'm lost for words at the moment and I have a lot of emotions. I'm very disappointed and upset."
