Knight ready for tough day against Owen

The 23-year-old striker must face a late fitness test to decide his availability for Sunday's crucial Premiership clash, but Knight admits that he is more then happy to pit his wits against one of the Premiership's finest goalscorers just a week after he thwarted the best efforts of Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Knight said: "Michael Owen is a lot quicker than Ruud and a bit sharper around the box. With Van Nistelrooy it's an overall challenge whereas Owen is more down the sides so there's a lot of difference.

"Owen's good. I played against him last year but I won't treat him any different to any team's attackers.

"I just concentrate on my own game and giving 110 per cent rather than any individual."
