Kuyt captains Reds

Kuyt wears the captain's armband for the first time in a competitive match as Rafael Benitez rings in the changes for tonight's Carling Cup game at Arsenal. Kuyt and Emiliano Insua are the only players who started against Man Utd on Sunday to start here.

Reserve pairing Damien Plessis and Jay Spearing both start in the centre of midfield while Stephen Darby and Nathan Ecclestone both make the bench.
