Kuyt definitely out

Kuyt injured his ankle playing for Holland last week and althoug he has responded well to treatment since returning to Melwood, the on form striker will not be risked against Blackburn this afternoon.

"I spoke with the doctor, and we think it's better if Kuyt is not involved for this game. But he is better and we hope he will be okay for the next game," said Rafael Benitez.
