Kuyt impressed with kids

Some of Gary Ablett's reserve team have been involved in the first team's training camp in Switzerland and have been making an impression. The likes of Emiliano Insua, Stephen Darby, Damien Plessis, Jay Spearing, Sebastian Leto and especially Daniel Pacheco have impressed Dirk Kuyt.

"The tour is important for everyone to get to know each other but this is also a big chance for the young lads," said the Dutch international.

"They did very well [on Wednesday night] and with a bit more luck we could have had four or five goals."
