Kuyt pleased with win

The Liverpool forward was on the scoresheet as Holland beat Scotland 3-0 on Saturday.

"It's a massive step for us. We knew Scotland would be very tough. They were very organised and we struggled I think for the first 15 minutes," said Kuyt.

"But after the first chance for Huntelaar, it was immediately a goal. We created some more space and it was easier for us.

"We scored a good goal from the corner, which I think is difficult to defend, and then the other one was a great header from Huntelaar.

"Of course, we know the strength of Scotland in the air, but today we were very happy that we scored two headers.

"Hopefully we can help the Scottish on Wednesday by beating Macedonia.

"For Scotland, if they can win the next game and after that the other game as well, they're back in the race. It's all open."
