Kuyt praises defence

Liverpool have not conceded in the Premiership in over ten hours, a run of seven games since their 3-0 defeat at Arsenal over six weeks ago. Dirk Kuyt has praised the Reds' defence and says their resilience gives the rest of the team confidence to attack.

"It gives us a lot of confidence when we know we will go out there and make it difficult to score against us. That confidence runs through the whole team," said the Dutch international.

"We are defending very well, and we know that to win things we have to defend well. We are high in confidence at the moment, and we will take that into the Blackburn game."
