"The atmosphere was incredible on Saturday. I have a great respect for the crowd, they were unbelievable and gave us help during difficult moments in the game," said the striker.
"It was like a Champions League game. The crowd is really important for us, they are always there for us, and we need them.
"Maybe their win can give Arsenal a psychological advantage on Tuesday, but Arsenal are one of the better teams in the Premiership so we already know it is going to be tough anyway on Tuesday.
"But the defeat gives us an extra incentive, and extra boost to want to win. We just have to keep going on and try to win in the Carling Cup."
