He said, "One of the things I have learned in the game is to enjoy what you are doing, and if that means having a smile on my face, so be it. I have played in some wonderful games this season against Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona. How can you not enjoy games like that?"
Kuyt added, "A footballer's career is short and you have to enjoy it and make the most of it. Lots of coaches and managers have told me they would love to still be playing and that is something I have taken on board. As long as I play I am determined to enjoy it."
