Kyrgiakos boost

Kyrgiakos was forced off after 44 minutes of Greece's midweek win and initial reports suggested he had ruptured his cruciate ligament and would be out for four to six months. However, Rafael Benitez has revealed that is not the case.

"With Kyrgiakos we were really worried because people were talking about maybe six months, but after the scan we think one week to ten days. That's very positive," said the boss.
