"Peter is becoming a cult figure - and deservedly so," said the Chelsea midfielder.
"A lot of us have known about him for quite a while, going right back to the England under-21s. He is such a great character. People take to him so easily. He wants to do well, but with a smile on his face, which helps when people are watching him.
"We are now starting to see that character come out. He is like Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney in the sense of not just contributing on the pitch, but off it too. The dance in particular is very funny. I think there is plenty of mileage in that for sure."
