Crouch caused the Chelsea defence all sorts of problems on Wednesday and his performance was praised by Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard who expects his fellow England international to do the same on Sunday.

"Every team gives us different problems, and the problem was Crouchy. He's very good at what he does, holding balls up and trying to bring people into the game and that was something to deal with," said Lampard.

"I could have told you before that Crouchy is one of the best at what he does, he's such a different kind of threat to what you might encounter elsewhere and he does it very well.

"You know when he's playing that he's going to get hit with some long balls and you have to deal with that, but he's got great feet too. Not only does he flick balls on, he brings people into play too.
He's fresh and different."
