"Everyone is very disappointed at losing the CIS final to Rangers, but there is no way we can dwell on it, because we have a very big match against Liverpool tomorrow," said the Swedish striker.

"We can't change what has happened now, and it's important to put this defeat behind us and move on, even if it was a combination of bad luck and bad decisions.

"We know we have to go to Anfield and get a result, and that's now the focus of all our concentration.

Larsson is hoping that the travelling fans will help lift Martin O'Neill's side to victory.

"I thought the fans were great at Hampden, and I'm sure they'll be out in force at Anfield, which is what we are all concentrating on now."
