The former Le Havre youngster, who has spent the past season on loan with his former club is looking forward to moving to Liverpool.

"I want to make a name for myself at Liverpool next season. I really want that," he said. "I think I have the means. I don't want to play at Le Havre any more, not in Division Two.

"During two years I have gained experience here. I learnt a lot, I played a lot, I have pace. I just had a long talk with coach Jean-Francois Domergue, who was very enriching. He knows what I want. I am proud to belong to a mythical club like Liverpool. I didn't miss a Liverpool match on TV this season.

"I already love Liverpool. I want to start the next league season with them, to get my chance. Of course, upfront there are only great players, they are all internationals. But I must not be afraid, on the contrary."
