Leeds causing Bowyer delays

KopTalk sources inform us that it is Peter Ridsdale's Leeds United that are delaying the proposed transfer of Lee Bowyer to Anfield and not the Bowyer camp or Liverpool as some muppets are trying to suggest.

Dragging it out...
The 25-year-old midfielder has agreed personal terms in respect of his wages but Leeds are proving difficult with their demands over Bowyer's legal fees which are estimated at around £1million. It is this outstanding amount which is delaying the transfer.

"Ridsdale is delaying the transfer despite Liverpool promising Leeds that they will see their money again," said our source.

"Liverpool are furious because they wanted Bowyer to play on Friday, now it looks like he will have to fly to the training camp in Switzerland because Leeds are making it difficult for the player to complete the deal."
